Accounts & Payroll Specialist Location: Dublin | Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our Client is hiring an Accounts & Payroll Specialist to support both payroll processing and core accounting tasks. This role suits someone experienced in high-volume payroll with strong transactional finance skills.

Key Responsibilities Payroll
• Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payrolls and update changes (new starters, leavers, overtime, deductions).
• Coordinate with internal teams or external payroll vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery.
• Respond to employee queries and prepare payroll returns (PSRs, year-end statements).
• Maintain compliance with Revenue and current payroll legislation.

Accounting
• Support bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, creditor/debtor reconciliations, and GL maintenance.
• Assist with management accounts, VAT filings, and year-end support.
• Provide finance support across reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.

Skills & Experience
• 3+ years’ payroll or combined accounts/payroll experience.
• ATI qualification or similar desirable; IPASS required or strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll; proficient with Sage, BrightPay, and accounting packages.
• Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
