Join a dynamic, long established, and family oriented international service company headquartered in Dublin. You will be part of a friendly team, reporting to the Finance Director and Financial Controller. The company is experiencing significant growth and expansion in Europe, offering a prime opportunity to contribute to their evolving Finance Function.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales administration function within the Finance Department, focusing on the new Contract Management/Jobs system to ensure accurate and timely customer billing.
  • Oversee and manage all billing data in the Contract Management system.
  • Direct and develop a team member responsible for raising invoices and collaborate with team members handling key customer administration.
  • Perform ongoing and month-end processes to support a seamless close-to-report cycle.
  • Manage accounting for accruals and prepayments for various companies within the Group.
  • Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register module in the accounting system.
  • Analyse overhead expenditure, identifying drivers and trends in overhead behaviour.
  • Conduct VAT reconciliation and reporting, aiming to enhance VAT accounting and compliance processes.
  • Partner with the Sales & Operations Team to provide necessary financial data for understanding customer and service performance.
Requirements:
  • Full/partial qualification in accountancy (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Strong accounting and transaction processing expertise in Sales/Accounts Receivable and Purchases/Accounts Payable.
  • Exceptional numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent social and communication skills, essential in a hybrid working environment.
  • Proven experience in managing people.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, with Power BI knowledge being a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in fixed asset accounting is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central accounting software is advantageous, with training available.
