The Company
  
Our client is one of the largest providers of private healthcare in Ireland who are looking to add a Financial Accountant to their finance team. As the Financial Accountant, you will report to the Head of Capital and Treasury
  
The Role
  • Facilitate the establishment of the Treasury Management Function within the Finance Shared Services framework, contributing to its successful implementation.
  • Oversee Group bank accounts, bank authorizations, and daily banking operations, ensuring comprehensive management of cash management systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance on Group payments to third parties utilizing online banking facilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance Shared Services to develop cash management reports for analyzing, managing, and reporting Treasury and Cash Management costs and budgets.
  • Report the weekly cash position and forecasted cash flow to the parent company on a regular basis.
  • Supervise month-end reconciliations of bank accounts and execute designated tasks according to the month-end timetable.
  • Lead and mentor the treasury team by offering clear direction, continuous coaching, and performance feedback, identifying opportunities for learning and development to achieve exceptional performance and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits of bank and cash master data across internal and external systems, ensuring adherence to financial controls and guidelines in transaction processing.
  • Serve as a point of contact and escalation for Treasury during internal and external audits to resolve queries effectively.
  • Generate required reports and analyses for the Head of Shared Services, acting as a strategic partner to support other business initiatives as directed by the Senior Management Team.
About You
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 1-4 Years PQE
  • Proven organisational, administration and analytical competencies
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong excel skills
  • High attention to detail
