Our client is a large Irish company who are recruiting a FP&A Analyst to join their team.  

The key goals of the team are the delivery of best practice finance processes and business requirements, implementation of digitisation and continued development of staff.
  
This role would be perfect for a qualified accountant with approx. 2+ years' PQE, ready to get experience in a more commercially focussed finance role.
  
Key Responsibilities;

• Oversee the preparation and coordination of annual budgets, periodic forecasts and longer-term financial plans.
• Work closely with operational teams to assess financial performance, understand key business drivers and highlight areas for improvement.
• Review monthly results, identifying significant movements, emerging trends and potential areas of concern.
• Produce financial analysis, reporting tools and management information to support business planning and strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, enhance systems and improve the efficiency of financial operations. 
• Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures and governance standards.  

 Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA,CPA) or equivalent with 2+ years' PQE
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An ability to act independently and as part of a team
• Strong technical knowledge & experience including excellent system skills (SAP experience would be an advantage)
