Head of Capital and Treasury A well known organisation operating in Renewable energy sector is looking to for a add to their team.

Based in Kildare, this role will be backfilling the previous incumbent who has been promoted within the organisation. 

This role involves crafting and implementing financial strategies, overseeing cash flow, managing risk exposure, and optimizing capital deployment to support long-term growth. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, with a particular emphasis on securing funding for clean energy initiatives, including collaborative ventures and strategic alliances.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the organization's cash flow and liquidity planning, ensuring sufficient resources to support both day-to-day operations and long-term objectives.
  • Foster and manage relationships with financial institutions to secure favourable future funding options
  • Oversee the development and execution of capital structure strategies, optimizing the balance between debt and equity to lower financing costs and sustain growth.
  • Lead the financial planning and structuring of clean energy projects.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with financial covenants and manage timely, accurate reporting across all debt and funding agreements.
  • Formulate and implement risk management strategies to address financial exposures, such as interest rate volatility, currency fluctuations, commodity pricing, and energy market dynamics.
About You
  • BA Degree in a related field
  • 8-10 years experience within Treasury, Corporate Finance or Capital planning
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is essential
  • Must be a proven leader with a track record of strong leadership and people management
  • You must be a strategic thinker and a strong communicator
