Head of Corporate About the Role:
As part of the role, you will also take ownership of a book of business within Real Estate and Construction including LDI. You would be leading client advocacy as a main contact for significant corporate accounts, with responsibility for day to day service delivery. Within Real Estate and Construction, our client works with a broad spectrum of organisations including main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, residential and commercial property developers, asset managers and property owners.

  • You would act as the main contact for significant corporate accounts, ensuring top-tier service and acting as an advocate for clients’ needs. Building and nurturing long-lasting relationships would be a cornerstone of your role.
  • The focus on delivering enhanced service opportunities, risk management, and tailored insurance objectives for clients shows that the company values a proactive, client-centred approach.
  • With strategic oversight of the Corporate Team, you'd not only guide day-to-day service delivery but also support team members in achieving objectives, particularly around renewals and revenue generation.
  • Actively seeking new revenue opportunities through networking and new business activity is also a significant part of this role, with the potential to drive expansion and growth for the team.
  • You’ll be expected to build a wide network of contacts, particularly within Real Estate and Construction, and serve as a role model for associates.

  • Given the emphasis on Real Estate, Construction, and LDI, knowledge or experience in these sectors would be beneficial, as well as a deep understanding of the broader corporate insurance landscape.
  • A strong focus on generating new business and expanding client networks suggests that a proactive, sales-oriented mindset is key.
  • Your ability to advocate for clients, anticipate their needs, and enhance their service experience will be pivotal in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in real estate and construction insurance
  • Knowledge of latent defects insurance is advantageous
  • Experience with account managing real estate owners, funds and managing agents insurance programmes
  • Superb communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture long-lasting positive professional relationships
  • Driven, enthusiastic and collaborative, focused on impeccable service, and enabling an ever-collaborative team culture
