The Part-Qualified Accountant will support the Accounting Manager and collaborate with various departments across the organisation. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities in financial accounting and provides broad exposure to key business functions within the group. It is focused on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, while supporting initiatives to enhance business performance and manage risk effectively.
Responsibilities - Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports; lead the month-end reporting process.
- Analyse profit and loss performance, identifying opportunities for margin improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support audits, tax filings, and the preparation of annual budgets and management accounts.
- Assist with financial control, risk mitigation, customs compliance, and ad hoc reporting and analysis.
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Confident communicator and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Infor experience advantageous) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Up to date with financial regulations, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
