Senior Accountant
About the Company:
Our client, a leading Multinational company based in Galway, is looking for a senior revenue accountant to join their growing finance team.
About the Role:Working as a part of a high-performance international revenue accounting team, the mission of this role is to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Review revenue deals to ensure revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP ASC606.
- Manage a portfolio of customers working with sales and services teams on reviewing quarterly forecast.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Quarter end close activities to document quarterly revenue in accordance with SOX compliance.
- Detailed preparation and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts.
- Ensure completeness of all audit documentation.
- Efficient reporting.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years’ experience in accounting, audit, and financial management, with 3 years from Big 4 or multinational experience preferred.
- Revenue recognition experience (ASC606) required.
- SSP knowledge and analysis experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Oracle (or other fully integrated ERP system) and RevPro are a plus; advanced skills in Excel are required.
- A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly with a drive for continuous improvement.
