A fast-growing renewable energy company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering excellent exposure to group reporting, audit, budgeting and stakeholder engagement within a capital-intensive, project-driven environment.

The Role

• Manage month-end and year-end close, including preparation of management accounts and variance analysis
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Lead the annual external audit process
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership, board and external stakeholders
• Lead group budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Support funding drawdowns and working capital management
• Drive process improvements and finance system enhancements
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory and internal control requirements

About You

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years’ post-qualified experience
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a growing business
• Proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented
• Experience in renewables, infrastructure, project finance or system automation is an advantage
