Senior Financial Accountant
Senior Financial Accountant (Construction) The Company Our client is a leading construction company who are currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant.
This is an exciting role for someone who is an ambitious, experienced accountant with drive, determination and the ambition to work within an established organisation.
The Role - Internal reporting for multiple business units, including monthly management accounting and variance analysis
- Analyze business unit data and coordinate with managers
- Reconcile and control balance sheet accounts
- Manage stock PSI counts and reporting
- Prepare and reconcile supplier rebate accounts; work with senior management on surpluses/deficits
- Advise on financial reporting and control improvements
- Document financial processes
- Prepare and complete monthly VAT, RCT, Corporation Tax, Intrastat, and other compliance reports
- Reconcile reports and payments to the general ledger
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for all SIG Ireland entities
- Provide backup for the Finance department as needed
- Lead or participate in ad hoc projects
About You - Practice Trained Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- 1-3 Years PQE in industry
- Proven organisational, administration and analytical competencies
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- High attention to detail
