Senior Payroll Specialist

My client, a growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and payments for employees and contractors across multiple international locations, including detailed payroll reporting.
  • Oversee relationships with external payroll providers to guarantee compliance with local tax laws and employment regulations.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll data, including timely updates to the master payroll file for new starters, leavers, and employee changes.
  • Administer statutory entitlements such as maternity, paternity, sick leave, and annual leave in line with local legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the People and Finance teams to resolve payroll queries and support ongoing process improvements.
  • Prepare monthly payroll journals, account reconciliations, and reports for internal stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who:  
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a payroll role.
  • Experience within a finance or accounts environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Experience managing statutory deductions and regulatory compliance.
  • Recognised payroll/finance qualification (e.g., IPASS, CIPP, or equivalent).
